AH Band UIL Contest Results

Alamo Heights Bands performed wonderfully well at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contests again this year.  

Our Junior School Honors Band and Symphonic Winds received Sweepstakes trophies.  The Junior School Symphonic Band received a superior rating in Sightreading.

The High School Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band both received Sweepstakes trophies.
The High School Concert Band receive a superior rating for the concert performance.

Congratulations to them and to all of our fantastic Band Directors!

All three judges in the UIL Region Marching Contest gave our Alamo Heights Band 

Superior (1) ratings.

Go Band!!!  And go Band Parents!!  Without you, we couldn't have pulled it off.  We thank you for all your help chaperoning, moving equipment, donating and handing out snacks, serving dinners, organizing uniforms, delivering ice, icing down drinks, driving trucks, etc., etc., etc., ...we get tired just thinking about all you do!

Central Texas Marching Showcase at Round Rock on October 3rd.
