as you run or walk through Alamo Heights
The Alamo Heights Band Association will host their 29th Annual “Run/Walk to the Beat” on Saturday, March 3, 2018. The race route will begin and end at Alamo Heights High School and wind through the historic neighborhoods of Alamo Heights. Participants and donors help to raise money for the city’s High School and Junior School band programs.
The event also gives area residents a chance to enjoy live entertainment from the High School and Junior School band students at the school district main office building. The students will motivate race participants ranging in age from eleven years old and under to seventy years old and up. The top three finishers in each of sixteen age categories will receive commemorative awards.
The race will begin at 8:30 am on March 3rd at Alamo Heights High School. Pre-registration will begin at 6:45 that morning and end at 8:15 am before the race.
